Impact and Trends in Tele-Medicine 2015
I take this opportunity to welcome you all to the inaugural event of Telemedicine Society of India, Karnataka Chapter on behalf of AarogyaSeva, the official NGO partner for this event. The TSIK would be launched by Mr. UT Khader, Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka, in the presence of Principal Secretary of H & FW, GoK and Commissioner, Health & Family Welfare, GoK.
AarogyaSeva is playing the vital role of aggregating and coordinating with non-profits doing life-changing work in this space. I encourage our NGO partners, academic institutions and students to come forward to showcase their pioneering projects that are transforming the healthcare space with use of technology and make use of the 3 scholarships being offered.
The conclave is scheduled between 9:00am to 6:00pm and would have the following panels:
- Telemedicine Technology (emerging trends, learnings and challenges with respect to infrastructure, solutions, applications, medical devices, and EHR)
- Telemedicine Practice (latest service delivery models, learning and challenges in adoption of the technology in the present day Healthcare Practice)
- Legal aspects in Telemedicine (existing legal framework if any, loopholes, challenges and solutions in regards to legal aspects while implementing telemedicine / eHealth)
- Business of Telemedicine (success and failure in monetizing telemedicine products, solutions and services)
