– Non-medical Volunteers


How can you join us?

As a Doctor/Nurse/Therapist:

– Participate in medical screenings at hospitals, clinics and communities

– Consult at schools/communities/PHC/hospitals

– Start ‘Seva Hour’: Waive off consultation fees at your clinic during set hours

– Undertake referrals (procedures/surgeries)

– Train medical and non-medical volunteers

– Take time off during weekends to volunteer away from the city


As Hospitals/Institutions/Labs:

-Offer infrastructure and people; perform free consultations and surgeries

– Get involved with a nearby community in need

– Provide training and internship opportunities for medical and non-medical volunteers

– Waive off hospital and lab charges for patients Handle volunteer orientations

As a non-medical volunteer:

-Get connected as a Health Volunteer and assist doctors in screenings at their hospital/clinic/PHC/schools/slums; co-ordinate follow-up and treatments

– Conduct awareness talks at schools, communities and other centres

– Help with needs assessment and understanding the community

– Help expand the Aarogya Seva network and build a local team of volunteers

– Help us with design, documentation and events

– Adopt a fulltime volunteer doctor/nurse and contribute

– Take a weekend off to volunteer away from the city
