WHERE CAN I GET MY SHARECUT?

You can get your haircut at any salon of your choice across India by following the hair donation guidelines that come to your email.

WHY SHARECUT?

Hair loss is one of the most common side effects of cancer treatment and is feared by men, women and children alike. The loss of hair can have profound effects on a person’s confidence, self-esteem and body image - making an already tough battle, harder still.

With commercially available wigs costing upwards of INR 5,000, putting them out of reach of low-income communities; the ShareCut campaign aims to bring wigs to women and children free of cost in Bangalore.

Our Reward? The smile on their face and the extra little flash of hope and joy in their eyes!

WHO CAN DONATE HAIR?

• Minimum length - 6 inches measured tip to tip
• Curly hair may be pulled straight to measure the minimum of 6 inches
• Coloured, permed and grey hair is accepted
• Hair must be washed and dried prior to donation
• Hair bundled in a ponytail /braid is accepted - loose hair/hair swept off the floor cannot be used.

SHORT HAIR? DONT WORRY!

Is your hair too short to donate? Don’t worry! You can still support and be a part of the campaign!

• Buy a ShareCut t-shirt to support the costs involved in the wig-making process and wear it with pride! (Call us to place an order or pick them up from our partner salons)
